The Doctor's House in Kleinburg, Ontario plays host to Melissa and Dan's winter wedding

By candlelight, Melissa and Dan said their I Dos at The Doctor's House Chapel in Kleinburg, Ontario!  I stress by candlelight because at ceremony time the sun had said adios and the Kleinburg Chapel doesn't have any lights besides a few candles.  My fellow photographers know what was going though our minds as we quickly prepped for lack of light.

The day started out at each of Melissa and Dan's parents homes before heading out to meet at the Kleinburg Train Station for their First Look session.  With family and bridal party looking on, Melissa was greeted with the look and emotion every bride deserves... Dan's unguarded emotion was as heart-warming as it gets.  I get asked by brides all the time if they should do a First Look - after seeing the emotion that overcomes Dan, what do you think my answer is?

After wandering around The Doctor's House and even stopping traffic in downtown Kleinburg for bridal photos we joined a literally packed house at the Chapel for the vows.  What I haven't mentioned, is that Melissa and Dan are good friends of mine and I was deeply honoured that they had me along to tell their story.  It was an amazing day to capture, however it was especially special being able to watch your good friends through the lens as they become husband and wife.  We wedding photographers have a crucial role on these days, it's just such an honour to be able to do it for people that are already a part of your life.   Thanks for letting me be a part of it all you guys!
