Photography Classes

Level up your photo game with one of my in-person or online photography classes. Whether you’re new to photography or a seasoned photographer wanting to learn more about wedding photography, my classes below are here to help.

Photography Education

  • PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS

My beginner digital photography classes are perfect for a beginner looking to take better photos of their favourite people, places and things.

My goal is to help you feel more comfortable and confident with your camera. The more comfortable you are with it, the more energy you can give to what really counts... your subject. This is the first step in capturing stunning photographs of your family, travel adventures and everyday life.

  • WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Whether you're an amateur or professional photographer, chances are you'll eventually be asked to photograph a wedding. It's a huge honour, and a huge responsibility at the same time.

Wedding photography is one of the most challenging ways to make a career in photography - you're shooting people, places and things under time limits all the while working with - and managing groups of people. I'll be uploading a tonne of my experience to you in each of these.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“I took Vaughn's couples photography course earlier this year, and it was a fantastic experience. Vaughn is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with and learn from. I had been struggling with posing, but I learned several techniques that I will carry with me moving forward. I highly recommend this course!”

Take better photos of your favourite people…

Here’s where many of us would love to improve… capturing memories of our family and friends as they grow. The walls in our home are covered in these memories and each year we add more to our story.

…Places and things

We all know that feeling of wanting to try and capture the view and feeling of an epic sunset, the grandness of the Grand Canyon or the history oozing out of the Colosseum. It’s difficult to capture that feeling, but knowing how to use lighting, your camera settings and improving your instincts will go a very long way to helping make it happen.
