EDIT: I no longer carry these USB drives – I’ve moved on to bigger and better :)
Done deal, finally I’ve moved forward with fresh new digital files packaging for myself and my clients! Known to procrastinate from time to time, I was setting a new all-time high for myself with this one. Packaging for my digital files has been on my mind’s front burner simmering away for about 8-10 months. Finally, with miles of online window shopping bogging down my cache I fell in love with these natural looking wooden USBs and coordinated wooden box packaging.
While friends and family loved my previous packaging set up, it never really felt right to me. But I stuck with it over the past couple years I think primarily because of their encouragement – as well as that whole procrastinating thing. With some time off during the holiday season and with a fresh new season of weddings starting up again mid-January – it was time to get off my ass and firm up packaging that better suited me.
The wooden USB is clean, simple and natural looking which suits my photography style quite nicely. Clean, simple, natural… dig it. The unvarnished blond wood is filled with an eco-friendly Aspen wood wool (looks and feels like a bird’s nest). I’m excited to show off my new branding to my upcoming Brides – finally proud to present them their digital files in the packaging their wedding deserves.
What do you think? What kinds of digital files packaging are you using? I’m always on the hunt for new ideas.
