I live and play right here in Muskoka - the beautiful landscape of lakes, rocks and wilderness are unmatched in this part of Canada. It's also my go-to region where I shoot the majority of my weddings. The past few years Muskoka has also become the go-to region for couples looking for elopement venues.Once you've decided an elopement is right for you, it's time to select your location. Sherwood Inn Elopement in Muskoka

Everything you need is right here from multiple ceremony locations to on-site accommodations to some of the best, best, best food in their cozy dining room. The Killbear Tree, Killbear Provincial Park
KILLBEAR PROVINCIAL PARK - Seasonal Spring to Fall
A provincial park may not have crossed your mind initially, however I've had the pleasure of shooting at elopement at Killbear Provincial Park in Fall and it was a fantastic experience. In Fall, there are far less campers so plenty of space to explore the trails and rocky shoreline. If you have an outdoorsy, adventurous spirit then I highly recommend eloping in front of the iconic Killbear Tree.
Pro Tip: Reserve campsite #319 in the Beaverdam camping area. It's located right in front of the Killbear Tree giving you prime access to the tree, beach and rocky shorelines.
Muskoka Soul Elopement
MUSKOKA SOUL - Year Round
Muskoka Soul is a private vacation rental (2 locations) near Gravenhurst, Ontario. Each location is a large cottage custom built and designed specifically for intimate group retreats. Both locations are located on the shores of Lake Muskoka and are an ideal destination for an elopement with smaller groups.
The main living space is large enough for an indoor ceremony however the dock outside is the prime location at Muskoka Soul.
Trillium Resort wedding

You'll find Northridge Inn on the southernmost tip of Lake Bernard (the world’s largest fresh water lake without an island).
