I’m a wedding photographer working with couples across Barrie and Simcoe County who want their day to feel natural and unforced.
My approach is straightforward. I stay steady and organized behind the scenes so you can focus on the people and moments that matter. The result is coverage that feels relaxed, not staged - images that reflect how the day felt.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me at traveling with my family, cheering on the Maple Leafs, or diving into a good documentary over morning coffee.
After more than 15 years and hundreds of weddings, I’ve learned that the best images don’t come from controlling the day - they come from understanding and moving with it.

My style is about simplicity. I focus on candid moments and clean compositions without turning the day into a photoshoot. You won’t spend hours posing or performing for the camera. Instead, the images reflect how your wedding actually unfolded.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer in Barrie?
The short answer is 12 to 18 months in advance if you’re getting married on a summer or fall. For off-peak or weekday dates, you’ll usually have more flexibility and can often book comfortably within 6 to 12 months. Learn more →
We’re awkward in front of the camera - can you help?
Absolutely. Most couples tell me this at first. My approach is relaxed and guided, so you’re never left wondering what to do - but never overly posed either. The goal is to help you feel comfortable and present, so your photos look natural and genuinely like you.
Where are you located?
I photograph weddings from Barrie and throughout the Muskoka region primarily. Destination weddings have also played a big role in my success - I’ll fly anywhere for an I Do
How many hours of wedding photography do we need?
It depends on your plans and priorities. For many couples, 5 hours is a solid starting point that covers the most meaningful parts of the day while keeping things relaxed and stress-free

How long until we receive our photos?
Typically, you’ll receive your images within one to two weeks, depending on my schedule at that time.
Do you travel outside of Barrie for weddings?
Yes. While I photograph many weddings in Barrie and Simcoe, I’m happy to travel throughout Central Ontario and beyond. Travel within the Barrie area is always included.
How do we book you for our wedding?
I like to keep things straightforward - just a 30% retainer and a signed contract, and you're all set. After that, we dive into the fun part!
Do you need a shot list?
A family formal list is always helpful, but beyond that, I focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds. Sticking to a shot list can take away from the authenticity of your photos. That said, if there’s a specific shot that’s important to you, let me know!
