Kristy and Mike's Sunset E-Session
Hanging out around Barrie for Kristy and Mike's engagement session
From my archives, here is one of my first engagement sessions in Barrie. I'll be forever grateful to Kristy and Mike for taking a chance and hiring me as their wedding photographer even though I was really just starting out in photography. After several weather delays, Kristy, Mike and myself were finally able to get together to shoot their engagement session.
The sun peeked through and Mother Nature appeared to be showing off with all these the crazy-cool clouds... Walking along trails with champagne in hand, these two lovebirds gushed over one another - making my job as easy as pointing and shooting.
A few days later we met again at a local downtown Barrie coffee shop for "Operation: Urban Contrast"... day two of their e-session. We sipped tea, walked ally ways and explored parking lots in search of contrasting images to our previous field/sunset session. Of course, we had to include Mike's baby... his Acura TL.
Game for anything, Kristy and Mike are a wedding photog's ideal couple! Their big day is coming up this July 2014 at the famous Belcroft Estates near Barrie - all signs point to one hell of a party... stay tuned!
See how their Belcroft Estates wedding went down.
Looking back at this session, I’m pretty proud of how these images turned out. I was so new to photography and learning how to work with couples, assessing light etc…
