Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Pictures | My Favourite Shot

Of all my Majestic Colonial Punta Cana pictures this one still stands out as my favourite

A couple years back my wife in I were married in paradise at the Majestic Colonial in be-eautiful Punta Cana.  We spent two amazing weeks soaking in the sun, well my wife did... my pasty skin was having none of that.  Instead, I spent my spare time stretching the legs on my Nikon and walking her around the resort.

About half way through, and nearly 1,000 pictures into the trip I was sipping my Banana-Mama (don't judge, they be some pinky-goodness I tell ya) and this young couple below walked past me on their way to the waters edge.  I scrambled to wake my camera up and snapped this shot.  Forget the centre composition, or the beach chairs in the way... it's the story.  Photography is about story telling, I can only imagine all the stories that have led them to this point, on this beach.

I'd been married all of 5 days when this photo was taken.  Watching him help her as they continued along the edge of the water had me speechless, and inspired as a new husband.
